Student Life

Day Students

Day Students are out commuters, as they will be traveling between home and the program. Most of our Day Students live within the camp area. Students will get all of the benefits of our program with the exception of room and board.

Designated pick up times will be discussed before the camp, as well as during when the student and parent(s) receive the schedule for activities happening.

Meals are not included, but are available as an add-on charge. Students may choose to bring their own lunch from home. Besides food, Day Students are included in all of the activities planned.

Residential Students

Our Residential program is designed to welcome students from all over the country. This is a chance for students to not only get a sense of how college dorm life would be, but also to experience a multicultural sleepaway camp.

Pace/New York University

Located in the heart of the Big Apple, Pace and NYU will give students a taste of what it's like to live in the city that never sleeps. Students will be housed in Pace University dorms located in Manhattan's Financial District and will travel to classes in-between Pace and NYU (located in Greenwich Village), Students are housed in single sex floors, generally three students to a room with two-four counselors living on each floor providing 24/7 surveillance.

While New York is known for having limited space, Pace offers large classrooms along with a cafeteria where most meals will be served. The Residential program includes 3 meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) which are served at the campus dining hall. Students that choose to buy food outside of the cafeteria will be expected to pay at their own discretion. Counselors will take students out if they want to go eat off-campus.  NYU is known for taking up a big chuck of Greenwich Village. Revolving around Washington Square Park, students will be able to take tours of the campus and learn inside some of its best classrooms. The Certificate ceremony at the end of the program takes place at NYU.

New York City is one the best places to study culture, as students will see how different cultures combine to make up the Big Apple. Over 100 language are spoken in New York making it one of the most diverse cities in the world. Students will get to visit museums, Historic sites, Iconic TV sites, and get a taste of the fast paced living.
